Mokexa was born from a simple observation: while visiting a local pharmacy in Lagos, we watched the owner struggle with manual record-keeping and inventory management. We knew technology could help, but existing solutions were either too expensive or too complex for small businesses.
We launched our MVP with 5 pilot stores. The feedback was overwhelming—shop owners loved the simplicity, and their sales increased by 30% on average thanks to better inventory tracking and data insights.
Pharmacists using our system asked: "Can we connect customers to doctors?" We listened and built our telemedicine platform, enabling seamless referrals from retail stores to healthcare providers.
Our customers wanted to sell online. We built marketplace and e-commerce sync features, allowing physical stores to reach customers anywhere in Nigeria through their own branded storefronts.
Today, Mokexa powers over 1,000 businesses across Nigeria. But we're just getting started. Our vision is to become the operating system for African SMBs—combining POS, healthcare, payments, logistics, and financing into one seamless platform.
